Polymer Analysis – Detailed backbone analysis, determination of degree of cross-linking, residual monomer content estimation

As the solid-state NMR spectroscopic analysis is a nondestructive approach, determination of the chemical and structural aspects of a polymeric material can be ideally achieved. For example, the degree of cross-linking in a co-polymer or the estimation of residual monomer content can be easily achieved by ¹H and ¹³C MAS NMR analysis.
