Natural and synthetic rubber analysis

ssNMR spectroscopy become a powerful technique to explore the origin of the elastic property in biopolymers as it is thought to be derived from the amorphous regions. In addition, information about homogeneity, cross-link density, domain structures and distribution ratios of fillers can be easily obtained from ssNMR spectroscopy. High-resolution13C MAS NMR data (changes in chemical shifts and line shapes) can be used to investigate the changes in the structural and dynamical behavior of bioplolymers.
